Chunmei, or "precious eyebrow," gets its name from its arced shape and delicate leaf. The resulting liquor is a fuller bodied green tea with a tangy sweetness, toasty character, and slight bitterness. Chunmei is a great option for iced green tea thanks to its acidity and body. 

What we're doing: 

• 1 heaping teaspoon (about 3 grams) of Chunmei per 6-8 oz serving
• Heat fresh water to 170º-175ºF
• Steeped 1-2 minutes
• Multiple infusions

What we're tasting:

• Sweet - Ripe plum
• Astringent - toasted nuts
• Bitter - steamed vegetables
